SILA, Gold American Mining Corp., SILA.OB
One of Gold American Mining Corp’s major properties is located in Goodsprings, Yellow Pine Mining District, Clark County, Nevada. The property covers a total area of 240 acres and it is estimated that it could contain almost 2.14 million ounces of gold or equivalent resources which can be availed through an open pit bulk handling process.
Nevada itself has a rich mining history which started in 1849 when gold was discovered near Dayton then the Comstock Lode discovery in 1859 which led to series of discoveries between 1861 and 1889. Four major gold mines were discovered in 1930s and in 1962 the Carlin gold discovery which contains 20 gold mines making it one of the world’s major reserves of gold.
According to statistics from the US Geological Survey Nevada mines contributed most in US gold production, making America the fourth largest gold producing nation with a total production of 210 tons.
SILA is a precious metals exploration company focused on the aggressive, ongoing acquisition and exploration of holdings with rich gold and silver production potential.
Last May, SILA reported the Company’s acquisition of the Keeno Strike Property silver and gold project in Clark County, Nevada.
The project’s exploratory work program will test ~1.1 million ounces of gold and ~69.0 million ounces of silver potential, which would be accessible via open-pit bulk handling methods unavailable to the industry at the time these properties were initially developed.
According to a May 2008 report prepared by Mark See, Mining Engineer, when the above gold and silver estimates are combined with those of additional mineral deposits of lead (~130,000 tons), zinc (~115,000 tons) and copper (~13,000 tons), the claims (including Monte Cristo & Yellow Pine) could represent an estimated equivalent gross in situ value in excess of $3 billion.
SILA’s 245-acre Keeno Strike Property is located roughly 30 miles southwest of Las Vegas in the Goodsprings/Yellow Pine Mining District, which, in addition to containing deposits of copper, cobalt, nickel, zinc and lead, has produced significant quantities of gold and silver. A reconnaissance report prepared in Q2 2008 determined that Silver America’s holdings, which include the historical Monte Cristo mine and Keeno-Mint prospect, represent sufficient resources to justify the next phase of the property’s exploration

UXG has an exciting high-grade silver discovery in Mexico that is rapidly expanding in size and it has completed a Preliminary Economic Assessment for building a gold mine in Nevada.
Recently UXG reported assay results for 15 new drill holes at the El Gallo project that were designed to increase the total number of ounces beyond the initial NI 43-101 resource estimate released on July 6th.
The best drill hole, which encountered two separate zones, returned 16.8 ounces of silver per ton (opt) over 78.6 feet (ft) ((576.9 grams per tonne (gpt) over 24.0 meters (m)) and 4.2 opt silver over 42.0 ft (142.3 gpt over 12.8 m).
